Two-Story Office Complex - Scottsdale, AZ

Part of two separate facilities under one contract for Motorola in Scottsdale, AZ, this fast track permanent modular construction project provided for two two-story modular light-manufacturing, engineering, and office facilities in under 180 days. Both facilities were designed with high-strength flooring to handle heavy forklift traffic, and feature steel clear span stucco exteriors with spandrel windows. Forty miles of equipment and communications wiring were installed along with compressed air piping incorporating 3,000 valves.

Federal Credit Union Branch - San Antonio, TX

When the San Antonio Federal Credit union wanted to locate a fully-automated ATM facility on the grounds of the local Veterans Administration property, the only legal solution was to choose a permanent modular building. Located in the heart of San Antonio, TX this 4,200 square foot facility was designed with a brick masonry exterior integrated to match the existing architecture of the area. One of the first “all-ATM” facilities to be built nationally, the project requirements called for full site-development, wood and steel construction, and a project timeline of 150 days.

Kindergarten Classrooms - Arlington, TX

When the Arlington, TX, Independent School District made the decision to move from half-day kindergarten classes to a full-day kindergarten curriculum, they faced an immediate need for double their existing kindergarten classroom space. Ramtech provided 117 permanent modular classrooms across 37 separate campus locations in less than 15 months, with the total project costs coming in under budget for the district. Each building was designed to integrate with the existing architecture, including grade level entries with covered walkways to the main structure.

Alternative Education Center - Kilgore, TX

The Kilgore, TX School District was faced with both the loss of an existing facility for their Alternative Education program, and the need to expand their agriculture classes and childcare space. The timeframe and cost of ordinary site-built construction were too high, so the district turned to Ramtech’s Slab-on-Grade Permanent Modular Construction. This 7,552 square foot facility, purchased through the BuyBoard, features an alternative education center with a computer lab, science lab, and administrative offices. Also included are large open-space classrooms, childcare facilities, and an in-school suspension room.

Government Childcare Facility - New Orleans, LA

Located on the bank of the Mississippi River in New Orleans, LA this 8,065 square foot daycare center was developed on a long-term lease to provide full-day childcare for the children of the local Army Corp of Engineers employees. As a design-build permanent modular construction project, extensive civil design and site development were required to bring the land up to a useable status. The facility features all steel construction, architectural metal siding, an integrated entry canopy, and a full playground. This building was one of the few in the greater New Orleans area to survive Hurricane Katrina intact.

Weather Forecast Station - Ft. Worth, TX

Located in North Richland Hills (Fort Worth) TX, this 10,800 square foot facility serves as the regional weather forecasting and broadcasting facility for the National Weather Service (NOAA) The project requirements called for full development including the acquisition of the land, space planning, and architectural, engineering, and civil design along with financing requirements to include a 10-year lease with a 10 year renewal option. This permanent modular facility features all steel construction, a concrete and steel tornado vault, raised computer flooring covering 50% of the facility, and a split-faced block exterior.

Childcare Facility - China Lake NAS, CA

Designed as a Child Development Center accommodating infants to grade school age children, this permanent modular facility replaced several dilapidated buildings and brought the Navy into compliance with federal work rules mandating childcare for civilian base employees. Located at the China Lake Naval Air Station in China Lake, CA and encompassing over 25,000 square feet, the Center features all-steel construction, an EIFS stucco exterior, non-loaded corridors throughout the building, and a specially designed mist cooling system to handle the extreme heat in the courtyards and play areas.

Two-Story Hospital Wing - Atlanta, GA

When the Veterans Administration looked to expand the clinic space at the existing hospital in Atlanta, GA they chose an all-steel two-story permanent modular building Comprising 7,356 square feet, the construction project requirements called for minimal disruption to the existing parking area, requiring the entire installation of the modular sections to be completed in just one weekend. The building features an architectural aluminum panel exterior, spandrel window glazing, medical gasses integrated with the existing structure, and twin holeless elevators.

Primary Care Medical Center - Myrtle Beach, SC

When the existing construction contract was terminated for non-performance causing a two-year delay, the Veterans Administration in Myrtle Beach, SC looked to Ramtech and a permanent modular construction alternative to expand their clinic space. Providing over 8,500 square feet, the clinic was integrated into the existing structure through a connecting corridor, and features all steel construction with a brick wainscot and Carrara finish exterior. The building, including the site installed entry canopy, is designed to meet a 130 MPH wind load.
